Who we are
Our team here at Slingpage is an authentic mashup of technocrats and social mavens, 10 talented people strong. We enjoy Knight Rider reruns, cheeses of the world, and redefining the nature of the social ‘Net. Slingpage was incorporated in August 2007, and we have offices in Estero, FL, and Boston.
What we think
We think that walled-garden social networks are already dinosaurs. We think the whole web is a place for social sharing without boundaries. We think the social filter should work in real-time. We think microblogging can be as easy as a single click. We think cut and paste link-sharing and bookmarking are old-fashioned. We think real-time social sharing and discovery is the new hotness.
We think the browser itself can be the most powerful social tool on the web.
We created Slingpage with these ideas in mind.
With Slingpage, the ability to comment and share is simple, instant and integrated into the browser – the application we all use all the time to experience the Web – turning the entire Web into an opportunity for social sharing.
